I've been playing the sims 4 since I was in grade 5 (2000 hours!) , and I especially love to play dress up. After a while of just downloading content other people have made, I decided to try my hand and make my own modifications I could play with and use.
I took inspiration from pop culture influences, some examples including Tomie made by Junji Ito and Bella Hadid's iconic eyebrows. Using what I knew about collecting modifications from my own game, I used simplistic, eye grabbing covers for the content I made and then posted them on areas I would frequent (Pinterest, Patreon, and Tumblr).

Since I started on my gap year at around January 2023, I have garnered over 220,000 visits on my Patreon alone. Including the impressions from Pinterest and Tumblr, I have collected over a million views on the content I made.
School has been incredibly useful in teaching me how to be successful in marketing, but this project has been insightful in what makes a successful product. By being part of the target audience I was attempting to appeal to, I knew exactly where to advertise and put my content for downloading, and that resulted in a lot of reach all over the world.
Being busy with school and volunteering, I put a pause on creating content for the sims. However, I have started working on a website that serves as a hub for all the work I've done. I am building this website based on creators who have done the same, and coding mechanics that make it the easiest for the player to find the content their looking for. This includes engineering tags and filtering features, as well as easy access to the download button.
